This newer hair color trend ascribes to neither the balayage nor highlights school of thought. Instead, the stylist blends highlights and color to allow one's existing color to grow out more naturally and gradually. Several advantages point to why this trend has caught on. While the process of achieving Lived in Color is more time-consuming up-front, clients won't need to go back for much maintenance, at most every six months, saving time and money for the consumer.
